Antique Cabinet Card Andrews Baby Gown Fur Throw Carlisle PA

This antique cabinet card captures a portrait of an Andrews baby posed in a delicate gown. The infant rests upon a plush fur throw, a stylistic choice common in late 19th-century studio photography to add texture and warmth to the composition.

The photograph was produced in Carlisle, PA, serving as a charming example of local portraiture from the era. Collectors of regional Pennsylvania history or Victorian-era infant portraiture will appreciate the sharp detail preserved on this original mount.

A rare glimpse into the early life of the Andrews family.
