Antique CDV Hilliard's Young Man Oliver W Gandy Philadelphia PA

This antique CDV features a formal portrait of a young man identified as Oliver W Gandy. Captured in the studio of Hilliard's in Philadelphia, PA, the sitter is posed with the stiff, dignified posture characteristic of mid-19th-century cabinet photography. His attire reflects the clean-cut fashion of a gentleman from the city during the era of the carte de visite.

Collectors of Philadelphia history or 1860s portraiture will value this piece for its clear provenance and connection to the Hilliard's studio. It serves as a striking example of the personal documentation common to that period. A rare glimpse into the life of a specific young man named Oliver W Gandy.
