Antique Cabinet Card Pruden Cute Toddler Baby Child Armchair Cortland NY

This antique cabinet card features a charming portrait of a cute toddler sitting perfectly still in a small wooden armchair. The young child is dressed in ornate Victorian-era attire, typical of the studio portraiture popularized in Cortland, New York during the late 19th century.

The photographer Pruden captured this baby with remarkable clarity, highlighting the soft textures of the child's clothing against the dark, formal backdrop. It is a quintessential piece for collectors of regional New York photography or those documenting historical juvenile fashion.

This cabinet card remains a delightful testament to the legacy of the Pruden studio and a precious glimpse of a Cortland toddler.
