Antique Cabinet Card Morris Toddler Baby Sitting Victorian Chair Pittsburgh PA

This antique cabinet card features a charming toddler posed for a formal portrait. The baby is captured sitting upright in an ornate Victorian chair, a common studio prop used to steady restless children during the long exposure times of the era.

The studio imprint identifies this as the work of Morris, a photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA. Collectors of regional Pennsylvania history or Victorian portraiture will appreciate the sharp clarity of the baby’s lace attire and the intricate woodwork of the chair.

A timeless look at a Pittsburgh toddler from the Victorian era.
