This original vtg color snapshot captures a lonely two lane highway stretching through a quiet stretch of country road. The composition features a hillside covered in dense trees, framing the empty pavement under the bright, natural light of Aug 1972.

The image perfectly preserves the quintessential American road trip aesthetic of the early seventies. Collectors of mid-century Americana will appreciate this nostalgic glimpse into a simpler era of rural travel, documenting a fleeting moment of solitude on the open road.

A beautiful, authentic look at a 1972 country highway hillside.
