Antique CDV 1880 E Harrison Alice Margaret Lay Girl Basket Kidderminster
This antique CDV features a charming portrait of Alice and Margaret Lay, two young girls captured in a studio setting around 1880. The children are posed with a decorative basket, a common Victorian prop used to add a touch of domestic whimsy to professional photography.
Photographed by Harrison of Kidderminster, this piece serves as a beautiful example of late-Victorian portraiture. It is an essential find for collectors of regional British photography or those interested in the fashions of the 1880s.
A delightful glimpse into the lives of Alice and Margaret Lay.
