Vtg B&W Snapshot Christmas Card Lake George After A Storm Dr. T. W. Stiegler
This unique B&W snapshot captures the serene atmosphere of Lake George after a storm has passed, repurposed into a personal Christmas card. The imagery reflects the dramatic transition from turbulent weather to a quiet, reflective shoreline, likely sent by Dr. T. W. Stiegler to his circle of friends and family.
Collectors of New York regional history or mid-century holiday ephemera will value this specific Vtg piece for its connection to Dr. Stiegler and its artistic depiction of the Adirondack landscape. The composition bridges the gap between private photography and seasonal greeting traditions from a bygone era.
A fascinating glimpse of a calm Lake George moment following a heavy storm.
