1886 Reading PA to Birdsboro PA Postal History Cover 2c Washington Stamp

This is an original 19th-century postal cover mailed from Reading, Pennsylvania, on March 12, 1886. The envelope is addressed in elegant cursive to Miss Olive Hart in Birdsboro, Berks County, Penna. It features a clear circular date stamp (CDS) postmark and a 2-cent red George Washington stamp.

The envelope shows signs of its age, including some foxing, light staining, and minor wear along the edges, particularly on the right side where it was likely opened. The reverse side is blank except for a small pencil notation in the corner. This is a nice piece of local Pennsylvania postal history from the late 1800s.
