1893 Ishpeming MI National Bank to Milwaukee WI Columbian 2c Postal Stationery

This is an original 1893 postal stationery cover sent from The Ishpeming National Bank in Ishpeming, Michigan, to the Wisconsin National Bank in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The envelope features a printed return address for the bank in the upper left corner.

The cover is franked with a 2-cent red Columbian Exposition embossed stamp (indicia) commemorating the 400th anniversary of Columbus's voyage (1492-1892). It bears a clear circular date stamp postmark from Ishpeming, Mich., dated December 7, 1893.
